“At Brisbane Racing Club we’ve had a great relationship with Arthur and the family team at Town and Country markets for many many years. Their food is great. Deliveries always on time, and they go to so much trouble to provide me with anything I need. They are a friendly, customer-first company, and it’s a pleasure to deal with them”
“Town and Country Markets has supplied Nando’s Flame grilled Peri Peri Chicken restaurants at Brisbane’s Northside, City, Bayside, Ipswich, Caboolture and Coolangatta stores with fresh and processed food and salads for some years..”
“First of all Town and Country are so reliable, and they have great products. If anything is ever wrong, they will fix it. Their service is incredible, better than any other supplier we have dealt with. “
“Town and Country Markets have supplied the college for many years. We get the freshest fruit and vegetables, and always delivered on time”
“Our Processed and fresh vegetables have been supplied by Town and Country Markets for over a year now. I am impressed with their reliability, consistency of product and friendliness of the staff. They go out of their way to make things go smoothly. Special orders are always fine. Their Customer service is great, nothing is ever a problem”
“Linley is our Town and Country driver , she will even deliver to me on weekends, and will go out of her way for us. Because Town and Country Markets knows our usual ordering habits, they will call and question strange items, and for example, if we ask for large carrots, we get large carrots. We have no problems with the produce, it is great quality, and they are really friendly.”
“Delivery driver Bob introduced us to Town and Country Markets, when we were not happy with our previous supplier. Everything they do , they do well. I need to look after our residents and staff with really fresh fruit and vegetables, and I’m happy to recommend Town and Country to everyone.”
“I have been with Town and Country Markets for about four years, and they supply all our fresh fruit and vegetable needs. We always have the same delivery person and quality is really really good. Anytime I have any sort of issue, I call Michelle or Gary and it is fixed the same day or the next. It’s good to have the owners number, and know I am welcome to call anytime”
I’m the Franchisee at Brodie’s at Warner. Town and Country provide us with potatoes, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, dry coleslaw, and bananas for our fritters. The potatoes are part of our signature family meal, the Roast Chicken Family Feast. We’ve been here 12 years and Town and Country Markets have been our produce supplier for at least 10 of those years. I keep using Town and Country because the product is high quality, and the service is excellent. If we run out of anything, they will organise something straight away, even the management will drop off the fresh produce themselves. That’s good old fashioned service, and it’s pretty rare these days…. nothing is too much trouble for them, it’s like a partnership.
IF YOU EAT LIKE A RACEHORSE, TERAHS at DAYBORO is for you ! it’s a long day for chris from Terahs at Dayboro. he makes lunch and dinner 4 days a week and breakfast and lunch on sundays. named after a local racehorse Terah* from the early 1900s, Chris and Deb have owned the wonderful eatery for 6 and a half years. “ Its Aussie Pub Food but better ! Out here, people don’t like the fancy stuff, they need plenty of good quality tucker. We make sure no one leaves hungry. TOWN AND COUNTRY MARKETS supply us with veges and salad mixes, and we are really happy. Their stuff is hell of a lot better, it lasts longer and I couldn’t be more pleased. We are in the main street ( 25 Williams Street) attached to the IGA , right in the middle of town. OUR SIGNATURE DISH ? It’s chicken breast stuffed with mango and camembert , covered in coconut crumbs and topped sour cream, guacamole and macadamia nuts “.
HISTORICAL NOTE *In 1892 the name was changed to Terrors Creek as the area where the town now stands was called Terrors Paddock after an Arab stallion named Terah. In 1917 the name was changed to Dayboro after William Henry Day who leased the town land for a sugar plantation in 1867.
